It didn't make any strange noises beforehand. I was just accelerating, and there was maybe a clunk and then no more acceleration.

The axle came with the car, but it's not Porsche OEM. I don't know the brand. All I can say is it's not FEQ. I replaced it with an OEM Porsche Axle.
