Definitely want to keep the back side clean of any PC. The lug holes are a bit more tough. If powder coated all the way deep, it will most likely flake the first time you torque to spec.

Thank you. I chose to visit the shop late afternoon... discussed my concerns... and his responses echoed yours. I'm feeling more confident my wheels won't roll off.
