Aren't APO's considered domestic mail? Seems like they should be.

They are, that is why I get upset with vendors over the issue.

This problem annoys me as well since being stationed in Japan and now Germany. Brian is correct in that APOs are considered domestic mail - for the rates, but customs information needs to also be provided. Other retailers usually put that information on the shipping label and it's no problem. If a company doesn't do that, then they have to do a separate form and that is probably the problem - extra work for them.

Yeah but customs form little problem. Nice assignment. I mis the autobahn.
