If memory serves me correctly (HA a rarity at times!) that piece requires some finesse releasing the clips correctly. Nothing catastrophic if not done 100% correct but do search the archives here for door panel removal or door speaker upgrade for details on how to do so appropriately to avoid any errors.
I'll be damned. I ordered Rust-Oleum interior trim spray in satin and it looked awfully shiney. Then I got one you recommended (I ordered the first before your post), and it looks amazing! I used 800 wet sandpaper to do some gentle sanding first. I'm going to do my arm rest lids next and call it a day. Thank you for the cost savings recommendation!!
