ignition Coil Bolts

Where can I purchase the longer ignition coil bolts that go with the newer designed coils?

BACKGROUND

My 1999 Boxster just turned over 310,000 miles and was due for new plugs. Since the coils had never been switched out, I decided to replace them with new ones along with the plugs. Unfortunately, the new coils require longer bolts.

Is it possible to purchase new (longer) bolts at Home Depot or Lowes?

Thanks

I doubt you will find suitable bolts that won't rust quickly.

Uh oh, I've got 6 of the newer style that I haven't installed and I thought they came with the updated bolts? I better check... I got Beru brand I think.

I replaced last year with new thicker Beru brand and they came with bolts.
I did notice that they never felt like they seated firmly as I felt I could keep tightening the bolts so I just stopped with what I felt was as tight as I wanted to go
There has been no issues ignition wise. I have not taken off for a visual since to make sure there are no cracks etc.

KRAM36,

Thanks for the link.
Last night I checked the Pelican Parts website under ignition/electrical and coils & I did not find any bolts.

Using the link, I've discovered unfortunately, that Pelican Parts only has eight (8) of the bolts on hand.

Thanks again

NDFRIGI,

Yes, it is the original engine and I believe the original dual-row IMS.
I purchased it in Sep 2009, with 104,000 miles.

Here you go, several other places to get them since Pelican doesn't have enough of them.
