I took out the tail light assembly today for a close look and discovered the loose metal track/trace has slots that may have come loose from the plastic tray. I re-insterted the slots located at the bulb location and ensure the other slots/notches were snug into the plastic part. I also closed the bulb slot slowly/carefully (with my fingers) and the bulb fit in much secure and tighter.

This simple solution may have solved the problem of the brake light bulb coming loose.

Thanks!
