I am not 100% sure. I used a magnetic pickup tool to pick it up, since the oil is too sticky, it always stick to the magnet. But I feel like it is because of the oil, because it has to touch it to pick it up. I will try it again tomorrow.

The bottom 2 photos are plastic , but the first 4 photos are silver metal. Not 100% sure ferrous or non ferrous.

I get metal looking like that on every oil change I've done since I got the car 11 years ago.

I am planning to install a LNE spin-on filter and a magnetic drain plug for now.
