Wow. Just two days ago, I decided to put a dozen quarters in the ash tray in my new (to me) Boxster. Thought it was a great idea.

1) Isn't there some way to seal it up so that the coins won't bounce out?

2) Is there an aftermarket pop in replacement that would serve as a good coin holder?

3) What is "ash tray delete"?

Works fine for me, but I just put quarters in it.

Same here, I keep change in the ashtray and I don't seem to be losing any change

Are you guys doing Dukes of Hazard jumps with your cars? :p

my favorite mod...

Same one as mentioned by Tom Stone (post # 50)... as this improves greatly the feeling and handling of the car, following a second place would be the LSD.

I just put quarters in it too. For meters. What the heck do you need pennies and nickels for?

So are you saying that quarters are large enough and won't bounce out?

Previous owner must have put change in the ashtray because there tons of loose coins under my shifter.
