I really like that big vent in the rear, reminds me of the carrera gt. I wish they wouldnt have done it to the front also... makes the doors look sunk in after that. No comment on the big black blob in the rear or the interior .

This has been out for a long time now and has been pretty much universally considered "appalling" from what I can tell.

The fog lights look like they'll be severely impacted and need to be replaced about once a month and the amount of debris collected in those side vents would be....suffocating.

Nice wheel but not everything else IMO. I'm biased since I have the wheel on my box

The wheels are the only thing I like. Anybody know what they are?

Nope. I am with you too. I think this car looks awesome. Of course I am very fond of the super aggressive look that Porshes can take on so easily.

The thing that makes the Boxster look so fantastic to me are the curves, clean lines and simplicity, reminiscent of the original Spyder. The TechArt mod takes all of those away and replaces them with jagged lines that break up the movement of the eye over the lines and curves. :chicken:

i like body kits, but i like them molded into the car. i dont like all the pieces, and body panels that just clip on. i like one piece body kits, so the body is all smooth.
i am also not a big fan of the new boxster, so that pic makes it even more ugly. i do however love those lights, best lights porsche has ever made.

I'm pretty sure those are TechArt Formulas. They are my favorites -well, actually my favorites are the Formula GTS (same rims, but in black)! I let a set of those slip away from me on eBay long ago and have been sad ever since.

I thought the front looked good on this car, didn't care for the back.

That's pretty much what screws it up for me--the tacked-on fenders. What kind of stupid crap is that? Why didn't they replace the whole fender??
I also hate the fanged look of that front bumper and the way that it bulges out and doesn't follow any of the contour lines along the hood or fender.
It kind of reminds me of a kid with braces and head gear. Orthodontics are supposed to be a means to an end...

I like the bigger side scoops, but the nose it a lttle over the top and the rear just sucks. Also, I find the 987 interior to be flawless, so shame on them for mucking it up.
Other than that, it's at least an interesting take on the Boxster.
I'll give them $1 for it.
