Nope, they usually take off the bare minimum to even out the flywheel. Usually they aren't too far off, but it is cheap insurance to make sure the new clutch disc seats properly and smoothly. IIRC the numbers that usually get marked on the flywheel are .01 or less. I think I have one sitting on my shelf that was milled .008
