Memorial day

For all of the veterans on the forum and others, take a moment to think about our brothers and sisters who gave the ultimate sacrifice so we may enjoy the freedoms that that we enjoy in our country.

Thank you

Flouese, a great message to send in any forum. I'm new here, and haven't even introduced myself yet, but wanted to say thank you for your 30+ years of service to your country. We all thank you, and those that gave all they had to give, to honor and protect this great country of ours.

Here's to those in service and the parents with kids over seas. Thank you.

My son is Navy.

Well, let's never forget those that have already been in and out and those who never came home.

THANK YOU for your service. That's a tough time working in boats. And a moment for all who sacrificed everything.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

-Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae 1915

I humbly say thank you to all those who sacrificed and to the Gold Star families who have given so much.
