Guys and gals just want different things. My Cayman is a very mild street/track build with only springs, GT3 arms, corner balance and alignment. I like it just fine on the street or track but for long trips we ALWAYS take the Lexus. She prefers a leather couch with wheels.

I'm quite jealous of the "lucky" folks out there. My wife hates my 986. I think I get her to ride in it maybe once a year. She hates the 5-point harnesses, the fixed seats, the stiff suspension, the sound (???) and most of all, the "I smell like exhaust and gas afterwards".
However, after the one or two autocross runs that she rides along for, she's always smiling afterwards. Guess I'm OK with that.

I love my Boxster but I hate the seats. I have to use one of those spacefoam wedge pillows to keep my back from killing me. My wife doesn't mind the seats and doesn't mind going for drives. I'm lucky.
