Does not require a computer to use it. Reads and resets most modules on many vehicles. It is not as capable as the Durametric for higher level diagnostics, but does everything I have needed for a variety of cars.

Another vote for the Autel MD802. It was the only tool I could buy to reset an airbag light on my 99 986. My Durametric could not read the modules. Durametric has some trouble with certain 99s and airbag modules
It also shuts off my service reminders on my VWs.
