Gas Cap locking issues
I reviewed postings and did not find anything quite like this, so help please.
When you actuate the lock with the key, the rod does not move into place. If you pull it out by hand it will retract and unlock.
I bought the new part and have had zero success.
Right now the fender well is open and with the mechanism hanging in the loom, the failure is exactly the same.
The rod will not extend out during the locking process.
Single beep response from the car.
If I am not being clear please ask as I sure need some insights.
