wheel fitment question
another dumb wheel fit question. i dunno a lot about this stuff. car is at m030 ride height. rear camber around -2. running 275/35 on 18" et 40 rear wheel. fit is good. looking at a new set of wheels that have a rear offset of 35. so, i put 6mm spacers on my current wheels to see what it looks like. what do you think?

Maybe it's just me (and I know NOTHING about will spacers.....) it appears to protrude a little too much.

i think too much as well. thing is, even without the 6mm spacer it sticks out what looks like too much (ie, imagine the pic but with the wheel protruding 6mm / 1/4" less - still sticks out past the fender lip) but works fine.

I actually think it would look pretty good if you were lower because the extra camber would tuck the top of the wheel in quite nicely. At that height though, I definitely think its looking kinda "mexiflush".

hard to see in this photo, but this is the same car same wheels (18" et 40) but more lower, on 265/35. i think et 40 is the most you can go with a 10" wheel.

That looks fine. For me, as long as the top of the wheel is either flush with or within the fender it will look good. "Flush" according to this pic.

So are you running 18x8.5 53mm offset front and 18x10 40mm offset rear?

yes but with a 7mm spacer on front, thinking of 12 or 15 mm. note that the front pic is without the spacer.
