I don't get to drive the roadster enough here. But when I do it really feel like driving something special. Does it worth wasting $15k, probably not, but missing out on this occasional driving buzz-effect would be devastating (top-down?!).

I'd certainly regret missing this occasion more than loosing $15k... knowing for sure I am incapable of buying another Porsche car atm (new or old).

Buy a car cover Tim

Timco, I'm in the same boat as you, but for different reasons... Houston is hot and humid most of the year and it rains all the time here. I'd rather not get caught in a downpour driving the boxster for fear some idiot sending a text would confuse me with a pothole and run over me.

The reason I often leave the box in the garage is I don't want to row through gears in gridlock traffic. Hopping in the F150 is just a lot easier. I'm lazy I guess.

I'd sell my boxster but no one will pay me what I think it's worth and for sure no one will pay me what I've dumped into it over the years.

Garage
I drive mine as a recreational vehicle though stored in winter it is a ride that brings happiness to my inner soul whether taking short drives on weekends or seeing it in my garage in anticipation for the next drive

As someone who has only driven their Boxster 30,000 miles in the last 16 years I can relate. However, every time I drive the car it reminds me why I keep it.

I feel your pain!

Recently, my wife and I had five cars for the two of us. Ok, I suppose a more accurate statement is that my wife had one car and I had four cars! At the end of the day, a couple of them weren't getting much use so I ended up selling one (2001 BMW 325i w/Sport Package) over the holidays to pare back the herd to a more manageable size.

Of course, I immediately started looking at 356's...
