Even if you're savvy at sourcing parts and do you own work the expense of owning a ferrari is in following the ridiculous maintenance schedule. On a f430 for instance, a major engine service (tensioners, bearings, seals, gaskets etc) is supposed to be done every 3 years or 12.5k (or something to that effect). Clutches tend to last 15 to 20k max etc.
