Has anybody here driven the unpaved road through the Valley of the Gods in Utah? Can the Boxster make it?

I rode it on my BMW R1200 GSA last year. I don't think a Boxster (or any sports car) has enough clearance.
That being said - I saw a few obvious mid size rental sedans on the road.

There are a few sections where there are some steep inclines in and out of water crossings that would probably hang you up. Add the rocks and areas of sand and I think you could get into trouble quickly.

You'd make it, but you'd have new rattles forever, and the red dust is near permanent. I've got red "dye" in my BMW GS that will never come off...

Hey! What color Boxster should I look for to see you? I see several around town.

Thanks for the swift replies. Crossing that off my itinerary unless I can get a rental car.
