What bulbs did you use, I didn't wire mine up because I didn't want the stock bulbs and also I never thought I would care if it was dark out and I couldn't see the gauges, but now it I bugging me. I too cut apart a cd holder to make the base

Nothing fancy, just some low powered generic amber LED lamps.

Last time I was at my local branch of a well-known national auto parts chain, I noticed that they had a wide variety of these LED lamps hanging on the peg. Just pull one of the incandescent lamps from one of your gauges and match them up.
