sorry for nit picking, but it appears that your exhaust tip is upside down on your beautiful arena red Boxster. Was that intentional?

Infiniti M35 sport is my 'freeway car'. I got rid of my Cayenne Turbo about 3 months after I got it, as it was just too impractical for my needs, although I do miss it. Fun ride. Before that my freeway car was a MB E500 sport.

You're joking, right? You're not one of those fruitloops with a garage full of old chicken fat and french fry grease, are you?

LOL nice. I bet its Thai resturant oil.... Lucky mofo, all he needs is to let it strain over nite to be fuel tank worthy. Its only about 20% less efficent than regular desil fuel... Thank you Mythbusters.

Ohh geeezzz. Here we go. My colleagues harass me about this until they're informed. I'm used to the abuse. They tease me about this too.
Anybody who knows me knows the characterization is improper. I'm no fruit loop (but maybe I am, b/c I'm a lawyer). I have my own used oil, and get some from some restaurants. We put about 5k a year on our jeep. Mostly in winter.
About half of that is my homemade brew of diesel fuel. Too easy too make. Oil+methanol+some other homemade materials. More of an economic decision than political. I make diesel because I can, not because I must. Why pay $2.50 a gallon when you can make it for about .60 cents? Which is why we do it. Go fishing, eat fish. Go hunting, eat game. Grow vegies in our garden, eat it. Got excess wood, feed the furnace. Got left over celery, carrots and onions, make soup. Got used oil, feed the jeep. Too easy. Right?
You've seen my threads on the sky-is-falling crowd. Don't believe it. But it really is cheaper, for now, in making my own fuel for our jeep (one of four vehicles). My other fossil fuelers are a BMW 1150 motorcycle, a Honda Accord, Jeep and the Porsche. Haven't figured out a way to fuel all of them. Yet. If I could I would.

I didn't think you were serious, so I was joking with you. That's actually pretty cool. I don't own a diesel, but if I did I might just try it.

I feel bad for all of you that have to park any Porsche for long periods of time due to the weather...
In Seattle, most here have a hard time knowing what snow is, let alone salt?! Only thing we tend to be missing out on is that whole "sun" thing...

Winter is not much of a problem in Atlanta, so the winter beaters are the same as the summer beaters: BMW E39 with 100k miles and the Cayman S.
