Shift knob and lever are stock and everything looks normal. How necessary is the alignment tool? I watched videos and it just seems to center the shift lever then the cables are attached. I marked the locations of the shift cables before moving them about and from my getting it close enough to center, they align just about perfectly with the marks I made. A quick google/ebay search and they don't seem available for purchase?
