I've also thought about building a Baja Boxster. I'm not sure much of any of the suspension control arms could handle that kind of abuse. You'd probably need to make longer ones for suspension travel anyway. I guaranty the rear subframe won't be able to handle any kind of abuse. Spec guys are always breaking them. You'll also need to install a six speed because I doubt the five speed will last very long with the strain of bigger tires.
