Driving past the lake today, I pulled over for a quick shot. It's a late change of season this year and I don't know if we will get good fall foliage in NE Oklahoma.

Thats one thing I do miss, being from Ontario, Canada originally.
The terrain in the South West US just doesn't have much of the kind of colors and fresh crisp fall air like they do North and East of this sparse wasteland out here.

Really appreciate those great colored pics especially with the Black Boxsters. Food for the soul!

Too bad your gonna have to put them away for the winter.

Huge tradeoff though... granted, some great fall colour here (for a window of about 1-2 weeks), but zero elevation of any significance. And just try to find a road with some curvature in the greater Toronto area that's longer than a mile or two. Even finding two corners that link together is a chore.

10 mins outside LA and you're in the equivalent of a sportscar amusement park.
