				got one at last

Hi Have just got my first Porsche. A Boxster 986 S . 2003 light grey (cant remember the Porsche colour), with 5 spoke Carrera wheels.
The engine has had some work done , including a bearing that apparently is prone to going. It has been replaced with a LN Engineering one. Also, just before I picked it up it had New Cats fitted, with O2 sensors, New Billstien Rear shocks, Brakes all round, rear torsion bar bushes , and lower rear suspension arms?
Am enjoying the sunshine at the moment, and some twisty roads.
Probably will be seeking advice on things in the future, so thanks for any help . Duncan

			Welcome to the madness.
Just to be clear, we will not help you curb your coming addiction. We will encourage you to make it worse and dangle tempting "fixes" in front of you until you are a complete junkie with no hope of recovery.

That made me smile... Accurate and on point.
My advice for any new owner:

Drive car, drive car, drive car...wash, rinse and repeat.

Don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff.
Enjoy.

Congrats! You're going to love it. I got my first Box S just over 8 years ago. Still have it and its still a blast. Been very trouble free as well. Wish you the same good experience!

Hi just checked colour and it is meridian grey. Think it was quite unusual at the time on Boxsters. More on 911s
