				Car cover buy

About a month ago we had a discussion about car covers and Nine8Six showed off his cover and offered to work with a group buy :
http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/65048-10-years-bad-car-covers.html
Here's one of his pictures from that thread.

I've decided to take him up on his offer. I'm planning to pay for up to 20 and have them shipped to me. Once I receive them, I can ship them out at cost. This is not going to happen quickly - probably final delivery up to two months from now.
If you are seriously interested in getting one of the covers, let me know in this thread. No guarantee (or commitment) at this point, but I'll give priority based on who signs up first. I am not taking any money or making the buy list official until I have the car covers in hand. I am planning to get 15 silver and 5 black and plan to keep at least two for myself. If there's more demand and it all goes smoothly, I'm willing to do another order after.

Not sure of end price yet, but from what was already discussed in posts I expect under $70 for a good quality cover plus actual shipping cost. I prefer to keep this buy USA only for simplicity. Maybe we can get a parallel run in Canada if anyone is willing to handle the reshipment.

Fred is ordering me a sample and when it arrives (2-3 weeks?), I'll give more details.

Thanks for the response. I want to keep this simple, but Fred mentioned:

I plan to have them all the same in this order, but I'm open to getting a custom logo on all of them if we have a consensus. Let us know if you have an awesome idea - model specific or forum related? Otherwise, I'm very happy with the emblem as on Fred's.

Any interest in black? I can go all silver. The though is that black is good for an indoor cover/shaded area/winter.

Thanks to Jon for offering his kindness to the community! Sure some will appreciate bud
I've ordered the 2 samples you've requested this afternoon and likely to receive those during the beginning on the coming week. This will be FW your way as soon as they come in.

** Reminding ppl that the black is NOT for sunny outdoor, unless of course the car is kept in complete shades all day long (like mine), then it would be okay **

No. Absolutely not. Put your 996 in the garage and get a cover for your Boxster. ...well ...Fred, since he mentioned this in the original thread I'm willing to make an exception if you can handle it there in Shanghai.

The response is good enough that I will stick with my original plan of 15 silver 5 black. In a month or two when I have the covers, I'll plan to pm the first people who responded to see who is actually buying. Then if there are any left, I'll make them available on the forum.

Thanks to YOU Jon, not me! Just passing on the lead...
Sellers keeps asking me what is the custom logo you want. Not sure why (this eve, he texted me, again). Already told him 3x we want them exactly like mine with the badge and the P lettering. My wife deducted that it is his way to show that he wants you guys to be super happy.... 'so we can buy more from him' LOL Cool dudes here I tell ya
