which side vent do you like better

I need your help in deciding which side vent treatment to put on my car for the Porsche parade next week. Louvered or stock. I'm including a couple of other pictures of the car so you can get an idea of the look I'm going for.(or see more pics in Show and tell)

The stock, only painted silver to match. Would look quite similar to the louvered IMHO.

None of those pictured.....the louvered ones are fugly IMO. Painted to match stock ones are perfect.

Agree, but the original concept drawings for the car had the shark gills look.

I find your car very interesting to look at, it rewards a long look. Thanks for sharing.

I think that the louvred look is a real statement. It has a hand crafted feel to it that's in line with the rest of the cars styling I think?

I'd say the one that is already on it so you don't have to spend less time driving. The car is a great tribute and the gills have an appeal that grows on me.

I like both looks, but for this car's theme, I'm 100% for this:

because it better follows this:

You will overheat....

....if you run that louvered one on the passenger side.

The passenger side is NOT an intake. It is an exhaust. It vents engine heat OUT.

You are trying too hard.

Nice concept Boxster wheels, however.

I originally wanted to do reversed louvers like the 718 but I knew I needed air, I never thought of doing two different ones( duh). I really appreciate all the honest responses , that's what I was hoping for. I'm 90% sure I'm going to repaint the black bezels body color and leave the fins gold . I'll post pics when done.

I made covers out of fiberglass, moved the reverse lights to LEDs in the license plate bolts. ( see more under show and tell " my prototype inspired project")
