So the pads I removed (Textar) had lugs that go into the pistons, the new ones do not. This flies in the face of 101 Projects, since there's no I could have slid them out without removing the caliper (good thing I am also doing the rotors or I would have beat on them - instead I removed the caliper instead of fighting it). I can't imagine the intent was to transfer the braking load to the pistons either.... TIA __________________ 2002 Boxster S, Arctic Silver, 18" Turbo Wheels, 6-speed
