I'm sure our cultures share that idea.

Just the response I was expecting I'm not looking from any hill but it's all down to the law of demimishing returns if you have a stick I'll get a bigger one
Oh btw please tell your president to mind his own business and stop telling me how to vote in a national election if the boot was on the other foot I'm sure it wouldn't go down too well

If you wish to look past my point, that's fine. All I'm trying to say is I don't pretend to understand your culture. I do, however, respect that it's different than mine. In a similar way, I don't expect you to understand why we Americans enjoy our rights to own guns, but I would expect as a reasonable human being that you could at least respect it. I don't get that vibe from your snotty comment, and I invite you to better clarify your comment to me if I am wrong.
"My" president doesnt listen to much. In fact he's the reason for the spike in gun sales. He does whatever he wants. Will likely go down as one of the worst in history if you ask me. I'm guessing you aren't asking me though because you obviously lump all Americans together and have disdain for all of us due to the actions of one. Do a little more free thinking and zoom in on his approval rating first.
And timco is right. Hillary isn't too fond of the rights guaranteed by our country's founders and she'd fight tooth and nail to take every gun from citizens who abide by laws and legally own firearms for hunting or protection. Meanwhile, the criminal element will continue to obtain them and use them for malice. That's a whole other conversation though.

Wow a reasonable human being what a comment if my comment is snotty what is yours?
I respect ever body's right to be themselves. Surely that's part of being a democracy.
The point I'm trying to make is that if you carry a big stick someone else is going to catty a bigger one. If you decriminalise guns all that will be left will be the illegal ones so in that sense your up ship creek without a paddle.
I have no distain for you or your country and maybe I don't understand why you feel the need the bear arms but what I do know is that I live in a major city and can sleep well in my bed at night or drive around with the roof down where I want.
I know that there a number of countries in the world that have worse gun problems than yours but is that anything to be proud of?
On a separate note I don't envy your choice, Trump or Clinton

K6s behind my passenger seat, always.
Crimson solo in driver door pocket, step out the car, than it's always on my hip.
I feel safe, my girl feels safe, and I hope no one has to feel threatened by it...:ah:
That simple

One thing clear. Not every gun owner straps their AR15 on their back at Walmart or the mall. That's the stereotype the left wants the world to see. Drink that koolaid if you wish.
And all add one more thing. He is NOT my president. Didn't vote for him, disagree on almost everything he says, and I'm tired of being the world's police force. We should indeed stay out of your business.

Timco 2016?
It's pretty sad when of the three people running one of the left is a self proclaimed socialist hates the free market and will raise middle class taxes, the other is extremely Hawkish and is begging for WW3... Also a criminal. Then the right has Andrew Jackson round 2 full of populism, walking all over the constitution, and tariffs... Freakin tariffs.
The two party system is pretty broken and I'll be voting third party this year.

Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt were both third party candidates, both are on Rushmore now. Now Jefferson is my favorite on the monument but never discount a third party. Trump and Hillary both have an over 50% disproval rating, it's the perfect storm!

Who's your third party candidate? Ross Perot? Ralph Nader? There's no one in this race that can truly claim they fit the independent bill. The independent candidates never hold enough of a following to actually win which is why we havent seen one for quite some time.Trump would have been the closest to doing it but the Republican establishment bumbled his anti trump movement and here we are...
While I don't like the idea of trump, I hate the idea of Hillary. South Park put it best. It's always between a dousche and a turd. Pick one. There are plenty of places where citizens have no voice.
On that note, the idiot politicians who claim they aren't voting disgust me. What a slap in the face to every vet who fought for our right to vote and the same system that got their worthless a $$es elected in the first place.

That simple world is long gone. Trump is the closest thing you'll get to a third party. I actually expect him to switch after he's elected. I'll be glad.
