I "played" with a scammer awhile back that had the same eBay scam going. The eBay link they send you looks very very good. You would think you are putting your funds into an eBay escrow account. For fun I sent the link to eBay (spoof@ebay.com). They acknowledged that it was a fake. I have a real problem with thieves.

When I was looking for my Boxster I ran into this kind of Scam several times. 1 of the scams had pics of a car that was being sold by a member from this site. They stole the pics right off of his CL add. I used to love to mess with them, but they are pretty quick to realize when you have figured them out!!
