Even the stock headlight scares me. When I was putting it in all I could think was that if ever I slammed on the brakes it would fly right out.

Does your lock bar fully engage? With the lock engaged, chances of one falling out are slim to none.

I had a motor bike pull out into my lane and slam on his brakes while I was doing 140 km/h and closing in fast I managed to stop with about a foot to his rear tire ..... my headlights stayed in

Yep, the light went all the way into the bracket and locked into place. The lack of any sort of screws or bolts actually holding it place was just really unnerving to me at the time. Then I saw this thread and started thinking about it again. Good to know that its pretty difficult to actually get one of these headlights fall out! Hope you get this figured out OP.

That's actually how it came out...I had to come to a quick stop and that apparently caused it to come out. I'll just go back to the original halogens if I can't find a replacement...smh.
