Yes they're real.
Story is that the driver tried to speed the truck across the tracks to beat a train.

I think this is worse than the sink hole at the vette museum. Those vettes are starting to be a pain in the gtlm class as well as prototype. They keep winning! I think human error is a much tougher pill to swallow as far as the wreck goes.

When I first saw this it was on my phone and could not see the detail then I re-read the OP comments and notice they are metal bodies, wow that blows!

I was there the day before this occurred. It was in 2008 after a Porsche show and swap meet at the Ventura (CA) fairgrounds. Here is a story and more photos from Flat six;

It's just something someone sent me, but I researched it and yeah, that's it. It is the one that happened in California in 2008 turns out.
