You probably already did this, but just to be sure - does your opener have a programming button on the side of the motor unit? Mine did and it takes a slightly different procedure. You need to press the programming button on the side of the motor and then within about 30 seconds press and release the button you want to program 3 times. It took me several attempts and I was about to quit when it started working.

Yeah I did that. A few times. I have all 3 buttons programmed to the brand new craftsman remote. And I then went to the door and clicked learn, then slowly clicked the single button 3 times, and nothing. This type of homelink had no antenna. But was extracted from the visor of a 99 eclipse. So maybe it's too deep in the car.

However I have a new plan.
Homelink button panel soldered to the craftsman remote buttons. So I don't have to waste a 15 dollar batwing.
