LED Light Kits - Interior and Trunks

Suncoast Porsche Parts & Accessories LED Light Kit - Boxster (1997-04)

I received a an e-mail from Suncoast Porsche which included this "special" on LED's for the interior and the trunks. I would like to upgrade to LED's, but to be honest it is not worth $69.95 to me.

Has anyone done this already with bulbs from more economical source? If so, would you mind saying which LEDs you bought and where you purchased them?

I bought the kit from Suncoast....

....and I love them. Maybe a bit spendy, but they fit and work perfectly and provide much more light. Sun coast supports our community and they stand behind their products. That's gotta be worth $20.

I bought various LED bulbs from ebay and Amazon for my Boxster and it is one of my favorite upgrades. I'ts been a few years and the bulbs have been fine. I'd say I spent under $20 but I bought more bulbs than I needed.

Me, too. Spent the $70 at Suncoast. Love the upgraded light. You can get the individual bulbs cheaper on Amazon and such (I just did for my Honda daily driver and they were of lesser quality), but I agree Suncoast stands behind their products. They quickly replaced another item I bought from them, but was unsatisfied with the first shipment.

if you don't want to deal with sourcing etc just purchase the kit....
I purchased from ebay in bulk to fit 6-7 cars for less than what suncoast has them for but bulbs were from different sellers and took a while to get in the mail
