Didn't have he P0101, have the P0102. I bought the correct MAF for a 99 2.5L base. I can only assume Pelican is not going to send out crap parts.

My post had a now corrected typo, it should have read P0102, which is a MAF low air flow code. So you still have the wrong MAF, a bad MAF and/or a MAF wiring issue. Porsche also released an updated MAF for the car, which requires a re-flash of the DME to work properly. You may have that sensor.
