Good catch. I've been watching it on Kansas City Craigslist all week - it's the perfect starting point for a Spec Boxster. If it wasn't Christmas week, it would be sitting at my house instead of yours!
Check your option list - it's underneath the front trunk - I'd be interested in seeing what all options the car has. With your description of the suspension, I wouldn't be surprised to see the car has the M030 Sport Suspension option. The wheels are called "Dyno wheels" - they are factory option wheels from 98-00.
