Just purchased a Porsche Boxster 986 (2004) the front left speaker and front left door speaker wasn't working. I took the dash speaker out and found a plug that didn't fit speaker and two yellow wires that were cut (one with a brown line). I connected these to speaker and it now works but I don't know if it was cut of the loom or if there is another plug as front door speaker still doesn't work. I can't find a wiring schematic

The door speakers are bass only, it may still be working. Many have thought their door speakers were broken when in fact they were not.

We're did you buy speakers for door? And we're they bass only? Also any tips on replacing speakers in days?

I just noticed that you have the Bose system which is different from what I have. You will need to do a search on this forum for replacing the Bose system.

I think the dash speakers are the same just Bose subwoofer behind headrest
