I finally made my deal for a 987

Ive been all over the place over the last 4 months. Ive looked at and driven 6 different Boxsters from a 1999 to a 2008, but Ive finally found the one and I've made my deal. It's a 2006 Boxster S with 50205 miles. Original owner with a folder full of service records and receipts. Everything I could want.

The options are too numerous to mention so I'll just post pics. Picking her up Tuesday officially but today's drive was beyond FUN!! So Happy!

Congrats! First project - lose the Amber and get yourself some clear side markers. Cheap and easy - makes the car look even better!

Congratulations! That is a really clean car - it looks brand new. And I really like blue on tan (my 996 was similar colors ).

One problem with that color combination....

One of your friends will like your car so much that they be relentless in nsisting you sell them your car.

Ask me how I know.

Wow, what a beautiful beast! I also dig the color combo and it is really enhanced by those wheels and red calipers. Great find, congrats!

Thank you Retroman. It was the navigation that really made me want to go after this one. So few from this year have the Nav option. Plus everything else it has put it over the top for me. Can't wait to get it home!!!

That's the way to do it with Porsches. The original owner that didn't drive it enough and treated it like a queen. Plus they took the major deprecation hit!

The original owner just purchased a 2015 Macan S so he just didn't need the Box anymore. It was stunning! Such a great guy. Threw in a very nice trickle charger and extra floor mats, a cover and the upgraded navigation disc. I really got lucky with this one.

Congrats on the car. With that color combo, the top must stay down. Very nice.
