I recently sold my 1999 146,000 mile 996 C2 on eBay and only got $11,500. It was not in nearly as nice of condition as your car, but it was a 996 with 300hp and ran very, very well.
With that as a benchmark, $9K would be a decent eBay sale. Of course, local buyers might pay more but they have access to eBay too and will be using that as their yardstick.
