I'd try another body shop. A good painter can match just about anything.

Earlier this year I had work done on my Audi. I needed to replace a rear door after someone hit me. The shop matched the door with an electronic reading that matched the paint color to the rest of the car,taking into account age and fading. It's seamless, you can't tell the new door from the rest of the original panels.
