I think you want the 10-40 if you're going with the Castrol. Based on used oil analysis by a shop-owning member. I'd use it but we only have the 5-40 available in Canada (go figure), so I use that.

There are as many opinions on oil as there are on replacement IMS bearings.

Yeah i hear you on the opinions. I used to use 5-40 castrol but I can't find it anymore, so I've been using 0-40. It has the Porsche A40 certification so I think i'm alright.
