Agree, but to each their own.

pw, why haven't you figured out a way to make the corner pieces look more clear then smoked?

I have

Take the lens piece off (they are ultrasonic welded together) and paint the rear plastic silver instead of the dark grey (the lens piece is only very lightly tinted - most of what you are seeing is the dark grey plastic behind it).
I tried it with a broken trim a while back and it looked good, but I can't bring myself to risk breaking a good set by splitting them.

My solution (since I am always taking the headlights apart) is to paint the turn signals lower shroud black. Then they will match.
