Fiberglass Boxster Muffler idea

Thinking about the light weight, corrosion resistant properties of fiberglass, would it be feasible for a fiberglass shop to build a muffler?

Internal pathways and baffles could be created and moved around a bit to tailor the back pressure and tone during the design phase.Existing pipes could be utilized and the gel coat could be infused with a dark Grey etc color to minimize the appearance of wear.

Just a thought.......

Wouldn't heat be a problem? Distortion, composition change, eventually melting.
