top speed?

The manual for my 99 boxster says that the top speed is 149mph...Do you think it could go past that..

depends on a myriad of things: type of gas, density altitude, temperature, proper tire inflation...etc. I ran my to top speed and it takes ALOT of real estate to hit that number.
