Garage
Doctor, I'm not felling good and it hurts. Can you tell me what it is?
With out code/codes, it is close to the above.
Best $30-$40 investment - basic code reader
My basic code reader has so far guided me to figure out and fix
I need to get one of those durametrics though. I'm afraid it will tell me what I don't want to know

Never assume a mechanic is going to do any more than they have to to get you out the door and gone. Now there are exceptions to this rule but these are usually long relationships with a mechanic who truly do a good job...but they are paid by the job and the sooner you are gone the quicker he (or she) can start another job and make more money. Do your work yourself....I didn't know one thing about a Boxster when I joined this forum....I learn every day

Ha! I'm right with you. I'm getting mine at the end of the month and I'm worried...
