Wheel Lock Key

Is there any special place the Lug nut locks get stored on the 200 Boxster. I have been all over the vehicle and cant find it. It appears that I have a standard OEM lock ing lug on my wheels. Was gonna do brakes todat but this is putting a hamper on things.

Should be included in the tool kit, which should be located in the spare tire area.

Probably lost. Do yourself a favor. No one wants to steal those wheels. Get 4 oem lug bolts. Then get one of these to remove the wheel locks. Put it over the locking lug bolt, whack it with a hammer and then unscrew.

I now keep mine in the interior of the car. Just in case the battery dies
And I cannot get the front trunk open.

Move your manual hood release cord to the tow hook spot for easier access. Never worry about a dead battery again.

A precautionary note for those still sporting wheel locks....Take a digital picture of your existing key provided you still have it. Save it in your "Porsche" picture file on your computer in case you lose it. If that occurs simply email the picture to McGuard (Wheel Locks) and they will send you a replacement.

P.S. One of the first things I do with P- Cars is remove the wheel locks if present and replace with lug nuts, they're a total PITA IMO.

Glad you found it. I got 4 stock lug nuts from Woody, scrapped the locking ones.

I thought about buying locking lugs for when I get the 19" wheels, but at my work the parking lot is gated off and security patrolled and I park the car in the garage at home.

They would have to be pretty ballsy to swipe them in a public parking lot?
