April UPDATE:
After sorting the problems with un- and repinning the connectors, de- and reassembling brake booster covers, locking the brand new left headlight into place and using the correct WHITE WIRE from the HARNESS(!!)...I got the Litronics working, finally.

CONFIRMED! They self adjust at start-up AND they adjust to the hi-beam.
