How to remove dash bar?

I'm in the middle of stripping down the car, I need to remove the dash bar, wiring harness and hvac etc. The bar is loose but its still attached to the fire wall. I would like to pull the bar with the peddle assembly and steering column still attached, is this possible?

Also anyone know what type of socket I need to remove the security nuts on the airbag module?

To remove the airbag module the manual says to use Tool 9259, which is a special socket.
This thread has a pic and also one guy says, "Vise grips work... ": Tool P 9259 to remove tamper proof bolts - Rennlist Discussion Forums

I can't answer your question about removing the dash bar because I haven't done that yet. As for those nuts holding the airbag module, I use a chisel and hammer on them. Just hit the edge of the nut at an angle as to loosen it from the stud. The nuts aren't on there too tight, so it only takes a few little taps and you can undo it with your fingers after that.
