Hello! Been a while!
Hey guys,
haven't checked in here for a long time. I left some teasers of my current 3.8 build, but I didn't get any messages. My car hasn't been on the road for half a year now
I'm getting particle wave to do a repair/retrofit of my lights. (Thread of that faff here: http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/52666-xtreme-body-works-jeff-headlight-review.html), and meanwhile I've been playing with my AE86.
Since the AE86 is nearly done, I've picked up a used 1994 1.8L Miata as my third project, but as none of you guys care about other cars, I'll spare you :P
So. Anything I missed? Where is Danger? Madmods make anything cool aside from the projectors?

Been a while since you announced your 3.8 built, that is for sure. Impatient to see and 'hear' it scream in all honesty (vids please, plenty lol). Should be something special
Bruce tells the truth, you like cool lighting you Crono, no?

Oh my god. You come up with the coolest things.
I haven't been able to give you guys much because this is the state of my car:
A mere husk with no soul or heart. But I'm waiting desperately for that prodigal child to return home.
And I did leave pictures!
But nobody said anything
I've been keeping busy at the track with my AE86. It has been a blast.

Personally I have no interest in a boxster that is twice fast as mine and handles better than any other pcars. You know how it goes, Crono
We're not jealous, we are VERY jealous
Keep up the amazing work, and pssst ... think you'll have one of the best, if not fastest, Urban Roadster in-the-world

With an engine build like that, you should be posting 15 pic's a day. Let's see the details! We want to drool over them with envy.
And I'd be glad to hear a report about the AE86 on the track - the good, the bad, and ugly. Tell us what we're missing (or not).

The AE86 is an AMAZING car.
Here she is next to a new toy I just picked up
And here are some track videos of the AE86 chasing (and catching) much faster cars (M3s, SVT Cobras, WRXs)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBtoqhkywLo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Coa5OeJtzY0
It's swapped with a motor and tranny from a Honda S2000, so it blows my 2.5L Boxster away.
Here is us at the 10th Annual Japanese Classic Car Show.
If I had to describe it... power difference aside, the AE86 is what a Boxster Spec Racer would be. Completely raw, unadultered, to-the-ground driver's car. It has no power steering, and the suspension is very stiff (see how I'm bouncing around in the videos). If the Boxster was a surgical knife (and a pampered one at that), the AE86 is like a meat cleaver. To me, it is the pure essence of driving joy, with just you and the car and nothing else.
It's hard for me to get pics of my 3.8 because it's in California and I'm in Arizona. The shop doing the swap is called Precision Motion, and they're taking their damn sweet time with it (it's been half a year!). But we're doing it right. Getting a third radiator, upgrading the two stock radiators, getting a suspension to match the new power (thinking Bilstein PSS9s), and a new 6 speed from a Boxster S. Trust me, nobody wants to see pictures more than me.
But here's two pics of the crank:

I was looking at GarageVary fixed headlamps for the NA8C. But then it's going to be my track toy after all. Don't want to dump too much into it

always though that a miata with full garage vary body kit, autokonexion roof and a renesis turbo rotary out of an rx8 would be a beast on the track.
