I built a shed in the back yard to make room for my boxster. All bikes hang, tools on the wall, lawn equipment in shed.

This is the way to do it, at the 6:00 mark.

Oh the joys of having a basement . I'm assuming none of those toys will be used until spring. Can't you store them outside covered in plastic? Or will they fair worse in the rain.
You are going to need a good cover anyway, there is no way with kids coming and going with bikes and minature cars that you won't get some good scratches on the Boxster. I'm thinking you may get more damage that way than just parking outside with a cover.
And if you are buying a used car with some good wear and tear on it already and just want to drive it and not look at it...well then it will be ok outside cover or not. I enjoyed both driving and looking at my cars, so for me it was garage all the way but then I have a basement for all the stuff that folks normally put in their garage.

Planning on going to see the car again tomorrow and hopefully come to a decision on whether to buy this S or not.
I'm also going to spend more time on the garage and see if enough room can be made for the car.

Thoughts on keeping 02 S outside??
You guys don't even want to know. We are the house of excess! We have a basement and a shed (filled with pool supplies and toys) and just had a huge amount of old toys sent to goodwill. I'll get this garage cleaned up somehow.
Now I've got to get the dealer down to my price point, have the car pass the PPI and I'll be a Boxster owner for the 5th time!

Oh sorry . Therapy
Just kidding. I know when I began my de-cluttering it was very satisfying.

This will be your fourth Boxster? How did I miss that in your signature.
I should have guessed by your post count that you weren't new to all this.
Well welcome back.

I built a carport (no garage) for my Boxster. Drive it year round too.

I unfortunately don't have a garage. In a couple of weeks I will be putting it away for the winter months. I plan on putting a cover on the car, and putting that inside of a hoop shelter. The shelter should cost me about $50 to build and I will post pics of it when done.
