Thank you all for your advice! This forum is awesome!! I had the chance to
buy a 2005 987 (dealer service-loaner car) for 37,600 in December of 2005. But
I wasnt ready to purchase then. It turns out that it would have been a killer
deal in that it wasnt a base-base Boxster and it only had 4k miles.
I'm gonna seriously consider that new 05 that mikenoh pointed out. I do have
an offer from a dealer for a base-base 06 for $41,400.
I've owned a 944 and a 914 (a nightmare!) so this 987 will be a DREAM!!! Keep the advice coming and I'll let you know when I finally purchase one.
